If you are a student reading this, or the parent of a student that wants a scholarship, then you probably want to know more about the process, how it works, and what your chances are. Although we can’t speak for everyone, we can provide you with some insight into how the process has gone for our Honor Society Scholarshiꩵp recipients. Here are some interview tidbits we compiled for this e-book:

1. Kylie Munson: Kylie was awarded $2,000 in scholarship money from our Honor Society Foundation. At only 13-years-old, making her a very young scholarship applicant, our foundation awarded her the scholarship at UCI so she could attend college at an earlier-than-normal age. Her parents had not planned for her to go to college so soon, which is why they needed all the monetary support they could get. After receiving the scholarship, Kylie said s💝he was motivated to work even harder, graduating with her AA degree in June 2019, as well as a 4.89 GPA.

2. Maren Hawkins: Maren was also awarded $2,000 as part of our Honor Society Scholarship program. Christin said winning this scholarship taught her to be more grateful and appreciative for the generosity abounding in our world today.

4. Valea Metzger: Valea was awarded $1,000 from our Honor Society Foundation. She had ap♊plied to 72 scholarships before our foundation selected her as one of our scholarship recipients. Wiဣth this money, Valea was able to cover the cost of attendance to her dream school, as well as expedite her degree by graduating in December 2020 as opposed to December 2021. Valea said receiving this scholarship taught her that hard work really does pay off, even if it’s not by a traditional means. She wants all other students to keep trying and applying to scholarships – they are available.

5. Katie Daniels: Having applied for several s♕cholarships during the time of her Honor Society announcement, Katie was the recipient of $1,000 from our foundation. Dreaming to attend the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, this awarded money made it possible for Katie’s family to fund that dream. She wants everyone to know that dreams come true, and if you’re persistent enough with applying for scholarships, you will eventually receive good news.
